Read on and learn about the power of affirmations.

Hi! I’m Jason Fonceca, and as far back as I can remember, I’ve loved the creative power of ideas, and I know in my heart that the ideas I’m sharing here can change your life in amazing and completely kick-@$$ ways.

I used to make fun of affirmations. There was a Saturday night live skit where the most dispassionate, wimpy, unappealing guy was looking in a mirror and repeating affirmations like "I’m special, and gosh-darnit, people like me!"

It was quite the turn-off. Despite all that, I held my inspired love for creativity, brainstorming, and ideas high, and then I realized…

AFFIRMATIONS ARE SIMPLY IDEAS.

They’re thoughts. Thoughts that some people may not have really had previously, and they can sometimes feel weird to encounter, but this is the same way anything "new" can feel.

Will this help me?

How often do you consciously and with attention, manage your thoughts? Once a day? A week? A year?

If you’ve been going through life and getting the same results over and over, repeating the same patterns, and feeling more and more stuck — you’re a perfect candidate for thought-change. You’re someone we’d love to help with new ideas.

So affirmations are ideas, some of which will feel weird or awkward, some of which will feel real and true, and some of which will feel imagined or pretend. Have you ever wanted to understand, be aware, and measure your own growth on a certain topic? You can, just expose yourself to an affirmation about that topic (it doesn’t hurt, honest), and observe your reaction. If you react to the idea with rejection, disagreement, or resistance — this indicates you have room for growth in this area. If you embrace, accpet, and allow the idea, it indicates that you’ve grown and are continuing to grow in regards to that topic.

Affirmations, even when you consciously reject them, are still working for you by:

a) Exposing your mind to a new idea, which instantly establishes new neural pathways in your brain.

b) Bringing forth a reaction for you to observe, which indicates your growth about this.

c) Stimulates the generation of other ideas, whether they are in agreement with the affirmation or not.

Here’s something interesting though: Practically all ideas feel real to kids. Kids reject no ideas.

Children totally get the power of ideas, fantasy, and imagination. Young people are consistently pushing their own boundaries, as well as others, and they grow super-fast. When children do this most people are cool with it, still some adults might consider it a "waste of time" and if they were caught saying these types of positive things with the passion and faith and belief of a child, it is generally looked at as lame.

Seriously? Positivity, lame? A waste of time? Watch Jessica show it how it’s done.

Take a moment to think about what you do with your time? Are you out in the world doing super-productive things for your relationship, career, and health? What do your habits have you doing?

You know your habits (for most people) are managing most, if not all, of your time.

You know your sub-conscious is a very powerful tool.

You know that all words and actions begin first as thoughts.

You know all these things, and you know that reading, listening to, and watching positive thoughts coming from someone positive, passionate and successful at life, is one of the best steps you can take.

Many people fail or stall with their application of personal growth resources, it’s one of the most common issues people talk about, and at SpiritSentient we’ve written many words on how to rock life more effectively, so now we’d like to offer a quick summary that can really change things:

If you can’t find it in yourself to do these things, or at least the first one, I won’t say you’re gonna have a shitty life but… it may become a lot more plausible.

So what’s inside?

SpiritSentient.com’s Digital Affirmations are a little different from traditional affirmations brought to the world by spiritual teachers like Louise Hay or Abraham-Hicks.

Whereas traditional affirmations are narrated by lilting, subtle voices animating very little energy, ours rock with passion and vibrance.

Where others becoming boring fast, ours are intended to hold a person’s interest so that they’re able to benefit fully from the ideas. Where they’re usually repeated a million times, we know the world’s attention and information-absorption abilities have increased, and people don’t need everything repeated a million times consecutively. If people lose attention, they’re not going to reap nearly as much benefit.

Affirmations often have no real theme, and simply meander back and forth from topic to topic, so you have to wade through all of them to connect with something close to your desire. SpiritSentient’s 222 affirmations are broken down into 12 separate video clips and categories, making it easy for you to focus on wealth ideas or relationship ideas or whatever you prefer.

Traditional affirmations are usually delivered in an agonizingly slow manner with very measured, paced words that almost lull the listener to sleep. Our affirmations are faster paced for an information hungry world that is ready to absorb them.

And it’s not just the speech, it’s the phrasing. Classic affirmations use words that only a few people understand and connect with like "vibration", "aura", and "flow" — We don’t avoid this altogether, but we keep it to a minimum, speaking in plain english.

Finally, most affirmation audios and videos have luke-warm music in the background that doesn’t connect with our generation, and doesn’t hold anyone’s attention. Not so here, we rock some awesome beats. we’ve start them off with an awesome inspirational track from Kawlinz (of WeAreTheFounders.com) and the remaining tracks are by the brilliant Dan-O (of DanoSongs.com) (and a tiiiny little clip of ‘Friendly Wires’ by Nick Fonceca.)

We also touch on topics that others avoid such as miracles and sex.

And to me, one of the most interesting differences is that we made ours a little edgy, a little rough, a little raw. There’s humour, there’s laughter, the odd cough or throat-clearing. We could’ve done even more takes or worked it out in post, but the organic feel seems oh-so-good, and we feel it adds to the passion.

Now, with all that said, I’m still spiritually focused, and we intend to bring the power of spirituality to bear in broadening people’s horizons, and if you know deep-down that you’re not ready to try something a little different, then maybe this isn’t for you.

If you are ready… Let’s Rock.

How exactly do these things work?

Every thought you think and every word you utter is an affirmation. All day we engage in a stream of affirmations. Yep, you can’t avoid it, you’re already using them. Affirmations are just thoughts. Our beliefs and habits are just thoughts that we have had a few times, and they’ve now become automatic — many of these work well for us, but others may now be working against our goals.

Automatic thoughts, reflexes, and habits can be good (like when they enable us to automatically respond to circumstances quickly and easily), but can sabotage us massively when their old obsolete programming (often created when we are children) automatically counter-act a current desire we have.

We’re not sure on the statistics (and you know in your heart if we’re close), but it has been demonstrated that nearly 90% of people’s thoughts are negative — no wonder some of us find ourselves struggling. Each negative thought, word, or deed is an affirmation and these can be even more powerful than positive affirmations because people often find them easier to accept

Basically, it sucks if your habits are continually making you habitually poor, habitually lonely, or habitually mal-nourished.

The three main ways to break-free of negative affirmation overload that results in a miserable life is a) gradually substituting whatever positive affirmations we can or b) embracing deep despair and misery so strongly that it catalyzes one to massive change and c) Bumbling through life unaware and going back and forth with each step, hoping to one day make some positive progress.

Which do you prefer?

Affirmations are focused and powerful habit-changing ideas.

How quickly do they work?

Lightning fast. In these 222 affirmations, there will be certain ideas you "latch onto", ones that feel really, really good to you. These thoughts are likely to be very effective for you, and changes will show up almost immediately. Others might feel very negative, almost like a big lie, and this indicates resistance and these areas may take longer to impact. Just ’cause something feels like B.S. to you, doesn’t mean it is, and it will be a chance for you (and your sub-conscious) to re-evaluate this idea, whereas your friends + family might be too scared bring the idea up around you, for fear of an intense reaction from you.

Please keep in mind, that asking how long it takes "to fix it" or "for them to work", is kind of ridiculous — every issue, idea, and habit is an individual case, and can take longer or shorter depending on many factors. My business partner Arthur, is able to make large thought-/life-changes consistently, immediately, and easily. He’s gone from omnivore, instantly to vegetarian after reading a single affirmation from Steve Pavlina. He then switched back to omnivore 8 months later after a single affirmation from myself. Both times he grew and had a deeper understanding of the topic. These are tremendous life-changes, spawned from a simple idea. He’s done many similar things over the years, and I see him as a master of thought-led, acceptance of change. Now, that’s one scenario, and your mileage may vary but no matter what, the effect of affirmations will be positive and productive.

The beauty of affirmations is that they are a catalyst. These ideas are seeds that grow, and lead to other ideas and inspirations, and after using them a bit, you may find you no longer really need them, or that you prefer to grow through interesting new books or seminars. Or maybe you love using them, and start creating your own — either way, we know SpiritSentient.com’s Digital Affirmation are a brilliant investment.

Do affirmations really work?

Heck yes. There is a reason they’re included in every self-help and personal development course or book. There’s a reason religions and cults make use them. There’s a reason TV commercials use them. They work. They work incredibly well. Isn’t it time you made them work for you?

No matter who you are or where you’re at, affirmations do one thing really well. They generate better feelings, and everyone wants better feelings. On top of that, if used correctly, they can manifest miraculous, mind-blowing physical change in your life experience.

Some Tips:

  1. Continually repeating affirmations with conviction and passion will chip away at even the strongest resistance, and with the following tips you can do even better.
  2. Be determined and ready to change. If you’re not, consider remaining miserable in life a bit more until you’re really, really ready. Then come back :)
  3. Print out the light-background JPG images and read them to yourself in a mirror. Some of the most life-changing messages you’ve gotten have been from people looking you straight in the eye. Ever been dumped while being looked straight in the eye? Ever been told I love you in the same way? Amazing stuff.
  4. Write them down. Or put them as your PC Wallpaper/Background. Or put them on your phone — just do something to get those words from your mind, through your fingers, and onto something you created.
  5. Say them, don’t feel foolish (or go ahead and feel foolish), but say them out loud, with passion. Really like you did when you were a kid.
  6. Listen to them as you fall asleep or rest in a bath or are otherwise super-relaxed.
  7. We recommend an inspiring practice of managing your sexual energy, but if you’re going to use it anyway, consider listening to these affirmations as you orgasm, the energy from arousal and orgasm doesn’t have to be wasted or dissipate, it can be made more use of.
